Authentication Is Part of the Selection
At The Preloved Lobby, authentication does not happen after a bag has been chosen. It is part of the reason it is chosen in the first place.
Every piece is examined individually, with attention to the details that matter for that specific brand, model and production period. Construction, materials, hardware, typography, stitching, date and serial systems, finishing techniques and manufacturing characteristics are assessed together rather than treated as isolated checkpoints.
The Preloved Lobby is founded by Mariana Siamou, a professional luxury handbag authenticator with experience across Cudoni, Designer Exchange and eBay.
Her career has involved the hands-on examination of tens of thousands of designer items and authentication across more than 30 luxury brands.
That experience shapes how stock enters The Lobby. A bag is not selected simply because it is desirable, rare or well priced. It also has to withstand scrutiny.
