TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 19/09/2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of The Preloved Lobby website and to purchases made through it.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
ABOUT US
The Preloved Lobby is a UK-based luxury resale business specialising in designer handbags and accessories.

PRODUCTS
Many of the items offered by The Preloved Lobby are pre-owned, vintage, archival or one-of-one pieces.
We aim to describe and photograph every item as accurately as reasonably possible, including relevant signs of wear, age, storage, restoration or previous use.
Because pre-owned items are individual pieces, condition may vary.
PRODUCT IMAGES
We make reasonable efforts to ensure photographs accurately represent each item.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings and device displays.
AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
Because many pieces are unique, an item may occasionally become unavailable before the website updates.
If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment received for the unavailable item.
PRICING
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website.
We may change prices before an order is accepted.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilling the order.
ORDERS
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including payment failure, suspected fraud, stock unavailability or an obvious pricing error.
PAYMENT
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments may be subject to verification or authorisation by your payment provider.
DELIVERY
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for information about dispatch, international delivery, customs duties and related charges.
RETURNS
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for information about change-of-mind returns, return condition, security tags, packing recordings and refunds.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Under UK consumer law, goods sold to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and these rights cannot simply be excluded by contract. GOV.UK
PRE-OWNED ITEMS
Signs of wear, ageing or imperfections that were clearly disclosed before purchase are not considered faults solely because the item is pre-owned.
This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty or materially not as described.
AUTHENTICITY
Please refer to our Authentication page for information about our authentication process and authenticity guarantee.
RESTORATION
Where The Preloved Lobby has carried out restoration or care work on an item, this will be disclosed within the product listing where relevant.
We will not knowingly describe an item as untouched or unrestored where we know restoration has taken place.
SALES CHANNELS
The Preloved Lobby may offer items through multiple sales channels, including our website, live-selling platforms and third-party marketplaces.
Pricing, promotions, payment methods, delivery options and return procedures may vary depending on the sales channel used.
The terms applicable to a particular transaction will be those presented through the channel on which the purchase is completed, together with any statutory rights that apply.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Preloved Lobby branding, logo, original copy, photography and website content are owned by or licensed to The Preloved Lobby unless otherwise stated.
They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission.
Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
DESIGNER TRADEMARKS
The Preloved Lobby is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the designers or brands whose products appear on our website.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
We do not exclude responsibility for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise subject to statutory consumer protections. UK consumer terms must be fair and written in clear language. GOV.UK
PRIVACY
Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applying to your purchase will normally be those in effect when your order was placed, unless a change is required by law.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
